This tool will help you find the best databases to search for information on a specific topic or from a specific journal. It will also help to determine whether or not you have access to a particular database. If you do have access to a database, it will provide you with a link to search that database.
You can begin simply by entering a term in the Search Term field to the left, selecting a search type from the drop down field, then clicking "Search".
If you are at a computer in your library, your institution will automatically be set. If you are using this tool from somewhere outside your library, be sure to select an institution (library) that you are affiliated with. Most of the databases you will connect to will ask for your campus username and password (PVT account), so have that information ready.
To select your institution, choose from the drop down field, then click "Change".
